For those who have been on cruises?
We are going on our 3rd Cruise is Aug(RCCL)it is a 9 night one. We have 2 full sea days coming and going? Do you enjoy the sea days as much as port days? I pick cruises based on ports. I like to pick them based on places Ive never been. I love to be on a cruise ship. There is so many wonderful things about it. I am getting a little anxious about the 2 full sea days before our first port?I know their are plenty of activities to do. Honestly, I look forward to our port visits more. What do you all do on sea days?
We sleep in a bit, and then just pretty much enjoy everything there is to do on board. We've never been bored on sea days, and really enjoy the relaxation. We find we're so exhausted on port days that we need that down time. Where are you going?
We are going to San Juan, St Thomas, Haiti, Domician republic. Ive never been to any of these places. The best thing is we are leaving right out of Norfolk(I am in Va Beach)so it is only about 7 miles to the cruise terminal
We went to San Juan and St Thomas in Feb. We walked around San Juan, and it was very nice. We didn't do any sort of tour. In St Thomas we took the tour that Yvonne suggested, and loved it!
I loved the 'at sea' days. So relaxing. Also played alot of bingo!!!! LOL
We exhaust ourselves in the ports so we sleep in on sea days. We choose the larger ships that have more activities onboard. We play ping pong, swim, play mini golf, watch a movie, and get spa treatments on sea days. We are NOT the rest & relax vacationers so keeping busy is important to us. Our traveling companions (my parents) use sea days to rest up for the next day in port. LOL. St Thomas---Godfrey tours are THE BEST value!
Yvonne, I was just looking at the Godfrey tours online. They get postive reviews on the cruise critic message board. We mostly likely will go with them.
You won't regret it! it was a great tour!
