Two weeks since my hysterectomy and I'm feeling great! Other than heavy lifting and a few other things, I'm pretty much back to normal. Life is GOOD without excessive bleeding and constant pain!

I had a LTH/BSO about 6 years ago. I have alot of internal adhesions so it took about 6 weeks for me to feel better so do watch yourself and try not to over due it yet. Will you be doing any kind of ERT? I am using the Vivelle Dot and it's been great.

Texannie, I had a total LAVH, but still have my ovaries, so hormone replacement therapy isn't necessary. Don't worry, I'm careful not to over do it. I'm avoiding any heavy lifting and/or strenuous tasks. Hmm, I might milk this for awhile. LOL!

Texannie, yes, I'm a Hyster Sister. Lots of info there, and sometimes too much. LOL! I was on Lupron for 3 mos. prior to surgery. It put my body into temporary menopause. Thankfully, it has worn off and I can tell my ovaries are starting to kick back in.
