Great news... My BIL has been over for two weeks now. He is doing 12 months. Anyway, I am glad your DH will be home soon.... It does feel like it has gone by quickly, hopefully it will go as quickly for my sister and their kids...

LOL Vicki.... i've definitely had my fair share of whiny, complaining deployment posts in previous years. I think I just finally got used to it and made the best of the situation this time around. That made a huge difference in the deployment this time. I actually feel myself that it's gone by fast. I guess it's good prep for his next deployment in 8 months... grrrr!

This deployment was a 7 month one.

We have many plans for when he gets home. Disneyland, Universal, Sea World. A few days in Santa Monica and the Los Angeles area. 5 days in Las Vegas. (At the end of May, am I crazy or what??? LOL)

I am so excited that it is almost over. I think Kaitlyn might be a bit more excited than I am. She missed her daddy so much. Nathan just has no clue. Poor boy. LOL
