I made a difference in someones life
While at one of my online communities that I talk more of my business than my personal, i came across a new teen mom. She had commented about being depressed. It was just a quick email to her, but we emailed back and forth. When we first contacted, no one knew of her pregnancy. She finally told a friend, then her boyfriend (who is very upset-doesn't sound like a good relationship, and this young teen I'm sure is in way over her head.) And I have been asking her to please contact a dr. She had not seen one yet and is 2 or 3 months along. I'm guessing in denial. Pregnancy, no support, young teen, hasn't told her parents, no drs appt, no wonder she is depressed. Plus she states she has a history of depression. My heart is just aching for her. So anyway, after about 3 wks of emailing she finally MADE A DR APPT! And she purchased some prenatal vitamins today. She told me thank you and that she probably would not have made the appt if I hadn't kept stressing the importance. Hopefully, she really did make the appt and hopefully she will keep the appt. So if she has done and will continue to do as I told her, I have made a difference
Good for you, Dana. Isn't helping someone out, one of the best feelings?
wtg Dana ... i hope it goes well for her after all comes out in the open ... its hard to deal with pregnentcy alone ...huggs to ya and prayers for her
Dana, God directed that young girl to you because He knew you are a good person and would help her !Way to go !!
I hope she really does go to the doctor, but if she bought the vitamins, maybe that is a postive sign!
