My toothe is killing me i went to the dentist today because i had a antibiotic called in the other day and i was told that the dentist would still have to see me...so anyways i went in and he said he could pull it the only problem is i thought it would take to long before i had to be home to get alex off of the bus so i told him i would be fine and get it pulled another day ....well i knew he was out of the office next week because of spring break and the week after i will be gone to florida with my mom = ) so i made an appt. for April 22 well i can't take it any longer i even have a prescription pain reliever and it's not helping at all...so hopefully he can squeeze me in tomorrow since the office is only open until noon on fridays...

Have you tried a root canal to save the tooth?

Abscesses are totally miserable! There is nothing worse than the pain from that. Good luck, I hope he fits you in.

Well i got ahold of his daughter which is a dentist too...she suggested i keep taking my pain meds and my antibiotics until they run out...yeah i think i'd rather give birth lol = ) at least you get something cute out of that lol = )

Oh, there is not much worse than tooth pain! I hope it starts to feel better soon. I would REALLY try to get it taken care of before going to Florida though. I would hate for it to start acting up on you there and not be close to your dentist!

Sorry you are in so much pain. I know if I was in that much pain, I would find a dentist who could me asap... I know we are loyal to our dentists/drs...but pain is pain.. Id find one immediately if I was in that much pain.

I don't know about anyone else's dentists, but with all the ones we've had (and having been military it's been a LOT) they ALWAYS fit us in if we're in pain. It hasn't been often, but if I've EVER called and said, "So-and-so hurts" they've always said, "Bring him right in." Brandy, I hope you get this taken care of today. Hugs, Girl.

I agree with Cat.. when I was having tooth problem, I called up and got seen right away and have had to have a tooth pulled.I am just suprised if you told your dentist about your pain and they didnt refer you to somebody else to put you out of your agony.

Yuck... having a toothache is the worst. I hope you get it pulled soon. My friend had a bad toothache, and she put a tea bag on the tooth and held it there for awhile. She said it worked! only problem is, I don't know what type of tea she said it was. I'm worthless

i got some oragel yesterday it quit hurting for like maybe 5 minutes and back to the pain again...the dentist said they could have me come in the thing is is i live 30 miles away so with the cost of gas and all i don't want to keep driving back and forth if they aren't for sure going to pull it ...thanks everyone for the suggestions i just got home from work...tonight was a little better. Thanks again everyone i slept great last night = ) woohoo...i don't think i'm going to make it until the 22nd when my dental appt is supposed to be but they said they would come to the office if needed next week although they are on vacation...so i will probably go on monday?
