Each year they do a jog a thon for her school (Starkey Elem). So far,
Angel has managed to be a top, if not THE top runner for her criteria
(age, female, bus rider - bus rider's don't have as much time to run).She has earned several trophies over the last 4 yrs.

This year, however, I have pulled her from running because she is complaining of leg pains
and knee pains. She has grown over 2 inches in the last 4 wks, so I
don't want to stress her bones now.

But anyway, I am very proud of her running and her ability to go around the neighborhood asking for
donations. She collected $200 last year! WOW. I never could do
that. And she hasn't had the chance yet this year because I broke my
toes that week the collection paper came home. Hoping to walk around
tomorrow with her.
