I've been in this mood to totally redo my house lately. I think getting the new living room lit a fire on my behind. LOL I'm changing the theme in my dining room. My house in general has a country feel to it. I have the green, beige and browns in the living room with some homemade wall plaques and other country decor and my frames are crackle painted. My kitchen is sunflowers. I want to pull off a wine theme in my kitchen but I don't want it to look tuscan or non-country. I was thinking of buying a used half wine barrel as an accent piece for sitting knick knacks on in the dining room and I think that will help keep the "feel" I want but i'm having a hard time finding wall decor that isn't tuscan looking. Does anyone have suggestions? Even things I may be able to make myself to pull this off? My brain is on overload and I need help!
