Karen- New Orleans?
I'm flying into Baton Rouge this Friday and then my DH is picking me up and driving us back to New Orleans where he's there for business...anything fun to do in New Orleans? LOL He said he wants to eat "Alligator"...hhmmm, I think I'll pass. Oh, and it was me who thought I was pregnant on the earlier post. I'm not... Thought you should know. ;-)
Sorry to hear your not pg. Maybe next month. Alligator, really isn't that bad tasting, there are two types of pieces (think dark and light), but unlike chicken they aren't seperated, so the dark pieces are chewy.
I'm sorry Heidi. Have fun on your trip!
Heidi - both of my kids tried alligator and liked it. Like my very wise kids say, Life is too short not to try new things.
Not sure about the gator. But to each his own. Sorry about the results, but all in due time, you will be blessed in that area again.

Also, if you're into local flavor and music, walk down Bourbon St. and into some of the Jazz joints. Pat O'Briens is great atmosphere for drinks (and the drinks are good - I *highly* recommend their Bloody Mary, and of course, the Hurricane. Copelands restaurants are generally good, especially if you like spicy, and the Ketel One Cosmo is to die for. LOL When you say *fun*, what did you have in mind? It's a city of music, and there are tons of clubs all over with pretty much any kind of music you want. Ditto restaurants. There's a great aquarium, the Audubon Zoo, you could take an afternoon riverboat cruise, visit one of the parks (Audubon Park or City Park), take the trolley on St. Charles Ave.........
Bumping for Heidi
Heidi, if you have internet access, I *hope* you saw this! I wasn't online earlier the day I responded. Hope you have fun!
Sorry you aren't pregnant like you thought! It will happen, it took awhile for me to conceive the second time, don't lose faith!!
