Anyone in contact with Rayanne?
The anonymous pregnancy poster reminded me of Rayanne - last she posted she was taking a break from TTC...........just wondering how she is??
I thought of her when I read that too!
Bumping up
hmm... I talk to her on myspace, I'll let her know you are asking about her
Hey ladies. I haven't been around too much lately, sorry. I have been really busy. I watch my niece every day from 7:30/8:00am until about 6:00/6:30pm. Rylee has been really sick AGAIN. I don't know what to do anymore. She has been on so many medications and constantly at the doctors. I honestly don't understand why she always gets so sick. Hopefully we can get this resolved soon. Still no baby. We have stopped everything. We still aren't preventing, so if it happens, then that's great, but I am really getting used to just having one child. Watching my niece everyday has shown me how hard it is with 2. Just taking Ry to the doctor or having to do grocery shopping is so crazy with the 2 of them...lol. I'd still love it though if I were to be blessed with another one. Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for thinking of me.
Thanks for checking in. RE: Rylee - has she had a full battery of blood tests, etc? What about allergies? Tonsils? Jeff and Jen were 2 sickly babies/toddlers. Once Jeff had his tonsils out, things changed drastically. Until then, he was CONSTANTLY sick with ear infections/strep/tonsilitis, etc. Sorry that Rylee has been so ill, I hope things start to turn around for you. Try to check in once in a while, OK?
It's good to hear from you. I'm glad you are doing okay! Josh, my youngest, was always sick when he was younger. He was diagnosed with reflux and asthma. But, no matter what medications he was on, he still always seemed sick. Fianlly, when we moved here, we lucked out and got a really awesome doctor. He was suprised that my ds had never been allergy tested. He was referred to an allergist, and allergy tested. He is SO MUCH better now. He has severe allergies that were triggering everything else...asthma, and reflux. He was put on stronger allergy medication last year, and is doing so much better. He rarely has asthma problems, and now only takes that medication as needed. And, we are going to try and take him off his reflux medication when school is out. He was so sick before all this happened. So, I guess my point is, keep pushing to have her tested, etc, until they find out what is going on. I hope things get better for her. It stinks being sick all the time.
Good to hear from you, Rayanne!
Good to hear form you Rayanne!! Sorry that Rylee has been sick. Hope she gets better soon the weather is about to break soon so that can enjoy outdoors with her cousin. I know you used to talk to Candace, Have you spoken to her lately? If so how is she and her girls doing?
Good to hear from you, Rayanne. Sorry Rylee is sick so often.
Thanks for the update Rayanne! So sorry to hear Rylee is getting sick a lot this winter. Hopefully Spring is here very soon and she gets over everything!
Thanks girls. We went through all of this with her last year around the same time frame too. She starts getting sick in October and it doesn't end until May. She has been allergy tested, and is on Zyrtec which helps with those, but she still gets sick. Last June, she had surgery to get her Adenoids taken out, and it seemed to help until October hit. Just the slightest cold, and it ends up going straight to her lungs. She is now on Xopinex with her Nebulizer and she was on Flovent but her doctor took her off of it since it didn't seem to be working. She then put her on Advair which I might take her off of because it is making her mean and she can't sleep at night. I have an appointment with her Pulminologist tomorrow afternoon, and we are going to discuss what is going on and see if there is anything else we can do. My dad thinks that she may need to get her tonsils out, but I am going to see what her Pulm. says and then make an appointment with her ENT. My poor baby. Another thing that concerns me is, the beginning of February, she got hand foot and mouth disease. The night before, I asked her to open her mouth to see her throat and it was red from all of her coughing, but I also could still see some white little blisters from when she had the HFM Disease. I thought it would have been gone by now. Just another thing to add to Mommy's worry list.
Rayanne, my ds was on Zytec, and it really didn't do a lot for his allergies. It helped, but didn't control it enough. So, they changed him to Extendryl jr. tablets, which is stronger. He is doing great on those. If she was allergic to a lot of things, maybe they need to change her allergy meds. My understanding is that Zyrtec is one of the mildest allergy meds. Josh's worst times are fall and winter. He was constantly sick during those times. I think the allergies just drag them down, and effect their immune system, so they pick up everything. I hope they get things figured out soon. I know how frustrating it can be.
Thanks Debbie. I will ask her Pulm. tomorrow what he suggests.
