Wow, I am just now hearing about this also. I didn't have the tv on yesterday.

I will definitley keep everyone in my thoughts, and prayers. We didn't live too far from the university, when we lived up there.

Prayers to all...Makes you want to just wrap your arms around your children and never let them go anywhere..But thats not possible... they must go their own way... we can not protect them forever..

It is so sad
About 20 years ago I went to that college for 2 semesters, so it was weird to see it on the news.

"A seventh person has died in the shooting, according to DeKalb County Coroner Dennis J. Miller. In addition, he released the identities of four of the victims: Daniel Parmenter, 20, of Westchester; Catalina Garcia, 20, of Cicero; Ryanne Mace, 19, of Carpentersville; and Julianna Gehant, 32, of Meridan."

My mother called me yesterday to tell me my nephew attends that school. I had no idea he was there, thankfully he is ok, and was on the other side of the campus when it happened.

If it were not for this post, I would have no idea about this school shooting. I watched the noon, and six o'clock news yesterday and all the anchors are reporting on is the "Bobby Cutts Jr." trial in Akron. Not a word about any school shootings. Which just does not seem right to me.
