If you haven't used The Works i would suggest you do = ) it works great...
I love Works! Use it all the time.
and it's cheap too lol = )
Can you buy that at the local supermarket - like Giant? How does it work?
Oh I love it! So cheap, $1 or less. You should be able to get it at Giant, Walmart, Family Dollar any place like that.
I got mine at Meijer for i think $1.79 but that's okay because it works lol i recently paid $2+ for that kaboom toilet stuff that didn't work good thing it was on clearance lol = )
go to their website and go to find a store it will tell you to put your zip code in = )
Thanks. I checked out their website. They sell it at KMart and Walmart near me.Definitely going to try this.
Oh I think I was thinking of the price with coupon sorry!
It's the only thing I found to get rid of the terrible rust stains that were on my 30 year old toilets. I flush, pour it all around, and then let it sit for about 30min. (That's for bad staining) AFter that I scrubbed a little and voila! - clean toilets that looked new! It took me 2 years to discover it. Now I just use it for my regular cleanings, and I don't let it sit for long. Just long enough to clean the rest of the bathroom. I've found it everywhere.
How often do you guys clean your toilet/bathroom?
Every 2 weeks here, for a full cleaning. I wipe down my sinks and toilet though, just with windex or antibac wipes about every 3 days or so.
How often do you guys clean your toilet/bathroom? Daily!
The half bath on the main floor that gets used the most I clean daily. I spray down the counter with a lysol type cleaner (dd brushes her teeth in there before school) and just keep a roll of paper towels under the sink. After I wipe down the counter, I lift the lid of the toilet and wipe that off with the paper towel that I just used on the sink that already has the lysol cleaner. I also keep a bleach tablet thing in the tank of that toilet so it gets cleaned every time someone flushes. I clean it with toilet cleaner every Monday. I am picky about that bathroom because it is the one people use that stop by for a visit! I like it clean pretty much at all times. The daily "cleaning" of it takes about one minute, so it isn't a big deal at all. It is just a small half bath. The master bathroom that is upstairs and the other full bathroom that dd uses upstairs gets cleaned on Fridays. I am not as picky about those as it is just us using them since they are upstairs with the bedrooms. I will clean dd's if I know she has a friend coming over!
Ditto Vicki. I clean the main bath daily, the kids' bath gets "cleaned" by them weekly and I clean our master bath weekly but I wipe ours' down each day. I go in and scrub the tub and floor of the kids' bath every couple of weeks since they usually bathe in our bathroom and it gets a wipe-down often enough, IMO. I haven't used the Works, never heard of it in fact but I love scrubbing bubbles for my tub and toilet and use Clorox bathroom spray for the sinks and counters.
I do a full clean on all our bathrooms once a week. But, the boys bathroom, and the half bath that gets used more often, I also wipe down daily with clorox wipes. I usually just wipe down the sink and toilet, so it only takes a few minutes. I have never heard of Works, I'll have to try it.
I have never heard of Works. I am heading out to the store. I want to try it. Thanks
I've tried The Works and wasn't impressed.
I wipe down daily and scrub down the shower/tub weekly. I use the Comet bath spray to get the soap scummy, hard water whatever marks off.
I use the Comet bath spray and the Clorox wipes that Debbie mentioned as well. I keep a container of Clorox wipes in each bathroom. Trina-Did you have really bad stains in the toilet or tub when you used Works? Ours were 30 years of rust and who knows what else. I used so many products and never could get it to even look lighter. The Works worked so well for us.
Does anyone know if it is safe for septic systems? It is hydrochloric acid. Does it upset the bacterial breakdown in the septic tank?
