When I was scrubbing the tub yesterday I noticed black streaks under the bath mat. The bath mat didn't have any gross build-up on the underside of it, but these terrible black streaks on the bottom of the tub. I let it soak in Works and Lime Away for a while, but no difference whatsoever.

It's totally gross and needs to be gotten rid of before we put our house up for sale. Any ideas? TIA

Try Grease Lightening it is a spray I use that and never failed for me yet.

I use a baking soda paste for many stains on porcelain and you'd be surprised by all the gunk it takes care of, like coffee and tea stains. You might give it a try.

You can also try something called Easy Off BAM. I think I got mine at Target. It's a purple bottle with an orange sprayer type top.
