Beginning on March 1, 2008, the moderators are going to delete the profiles of people who have not posted since January 1, 2007 and people who have NEVER posted. This will include new members who have not yet posted (putting them in the "never" category"). So if you want to keep your posting privileges active, please post somewhere, on any thread. If you are a new member, please introduce yourself on the "New to Momsview Board", which will serve two purposes - it will keep your profile active and will introduce you to the rest of us.

Why are we doing this? Because each profile takes up server space. Removing the profiles of people who have not posted in the past several months or never posted reduces the chances of a MV board freeze - and we have had a couple of freezes in the last couple of months.

Some people join to only post once on a particular topic; others join to take advantage of the coupons (and can have full access to the coupons without applying for posting privileges). In either case, someone who has not posted since January 1, 2007 is not an active member. And, anyone who has been away for a while and comes back and wants to post can always apply again for posting privileges.

The moderators will keep bumping this post up until the end of February and it will be posted in several topics so that no one (we hope) will miss it. On March 1st we will begin deleting the profiles of anyone who has not posted since January 1, 2007 or has never posted.

No one is worried about how often you all are posting. We are more worried about you deciding one day to post and not having your posting privileges because we have deleted off your membership. If you simply type in "here", your account will show you as an active member. Then you have no worries until we need to clean up the memberships again, likely next spring, depending on how many new Memberships we get over the year. If you have posted since last January, you too have no worries...

This board works the most efficient if we keep on top of things and keep our archives (which includes old memberships) down to a minimum. The more things we try to store up the slower the board loads and the more likely we are to lock up/or freeze because we are reaching or maximum server space.

As long as you follow the posting guide lines of the board (yes, I know... The members say, "GRRR") I do not care what you do here.. Post, read, come in once a month, once a year or a million times a day... Its all your choice...

If you think you might want to make a post in the near future, then you need to keep your account active.. Otherwise, you just might have to wait days to make a post. We read through, check into and approve all applications ourselves... (This would be a pet peeve of mine, you wouldn't believe the applications we get...) If we have many and your on the bottom, you will be wishing you had taken a minute and types "HERE" on this thread..
