I'm so happy. My oldest friend disappeared several years ago. She moved to California and moved in with her daughter for a while. Then she dropped out of sight. I've tried writing and calling her daughter, but never got through. I left messages that were never answered. I was so upset. Denise and I were in the playpen together, and it killed me to lose touch. She finally wrote a Christmas card explaining that she'd been in a deep depression for the last 5 years. I called her tonight. It was like we had talked yesterday. It feels so great to have found her again.
