After a long weekend with my family we were supposed to head out early this morning to go to NC for a week. My mil who lives with us has been visiting this past month and we are going to get her. Well it started out with ds getting sick in the middle of the night. So everyone's sleep was thrown off. Then deciding if he was really sick or just a fluk. So fat it appears to be a fluk. But things kept being thrown in our way this morning. The morning drug on and on and we were still not gone. We were actually in the car on our way out of town and the last straw was this big long train that was going like 2-3 miles an hour blocking the road. Dh said there is never a train on these tracks and he is right! Anyway I finally said do you just want to go home and leave late this afternoon and the kids can sleep in the car. Dh was more then happy with that suggestion. It was just the weirdest thing because something kept nagging at me that we should not go yet and I was relieved when we finally decided to stay home. It could just be conicedence but I believe the lord can work in strange ways. I just hope all goes well later. Now to try and find something to eat since I threw everything away! I hope everyone has a nice holiday!

I have had things like this happen before. I chalk it up to fate and don't dare it. I hope when you all do head out that you have a safe trip. Hope MIL had a nice visit and that you had a nice break. My MIL lives with us also, it's been 6 months now. I am doing fine, so far, DH is the one having a hard time adjusting (long story). SAFE travels.... And a happy New Year to ya..
