Ready to snap....
Youngest dd was supposed to sing at the senior center..she had her dress picked out for weeks, notice on the fridge so I wouldn't forget, I thought it said Tuesday, when in fact it was Monday so she went in jeans, oldest dd is in a play tomorrow and I can't see it because I have to work, it's only about a 15 minute skit, but I always go to these things, ds basically has the f...it's in school at the moment and so does his teacher, I've got the whole thank you note thing (see prior anon post), my sister invited herself up tomorrow and will be here at 3:30p, I get home at 3:15p! I think she wants dinner too! I have not finished wrapping and have one more gift to buy, and on top of everything else, the stupid cat has a tapeworm....please don't even ask how I found that out....AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! just really need to type this out before I snap!!
OK...Breath in and breath out. Again...and again. Everything will be ok. {{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}
{{{{hugs}}}} I hope things get better for you soon!
It will be okay, just as soon as the Holidays pass, that is how it always works! Just try to relax. And yes just Breathe
Had to check out the Thank-you note dilemma before I posted to this one. First- BREATHE. Second, give your sister your camera and send her to your dd's play, (if she arrives in time) and tell her if she doesn't go you won't feed her that night!
Deeeeeeepppp breathes!!! It's gonna be ok!!! One thing at a time, and remember no one is perfect!!! (((Anon)))
Maybe this will make you feel your not alone! lol IF it makes you feel any better my ds went to school on picture day in a camo shirt... I got upset because I forgot it was pic day. So we didnt buy the pics and opted to do retakes. Well, smarty Mom here FORGOT again the day they were doing retakes and he went with scruffy hair and a horrible (even worse then the camo) WOLF t-shirt that he just *loves*. ugh... Ok, so then I forgot to buy his teacher a gift -- so the day of his Christmas party (last week) I grab a gift off the kitchen counter that was given to me the night before. Now I think there is a name for that--*regifting* or something? LOL!!! Ds and I giggled about it and went on with our day. He had a gift for his teacher and wrote her a card and enjoyed his party. ;) I am getting way to relaxed in my old age. lol I am not done Christmas shopping (dont know what happened to me this yr I am usually done by December). But I Started thinking today--why not just STOP where I'm at and call it good. I am usually the queen of boring wrapping paper--every package has to look perfect under the tree in matching paper with gorgeous ribbon. Well, this yr we have Penguin paper, SpiderMan paper, snowman paper, gold paper and my ds's have wrapped alot of the gifts themselves. LOL! I think it looks too cute... Our cat had pneumonia so I spent a good portion of a morning at the vet last week when I had a million other things to do. He is feeling much better tho- so glad we got him in to the vet. Can your dh take on the cat issue? If my sister was coming I'd ask her to bring dinner. But my sis and I do things like that to each other without any thought about! LOL 'Grab some pizza'a on your over would ya, I'll pay ya back when ya get here?!' As for your thank you notes--dont have like 30 days to get those out? ISnt that the rule? So hold off and do those on next week or something... Sit down have a glass of wine or soak in the tub.
Can we sayyy *typo's*. (and lots of 'em) Oh my goodness!
LOL Conni, And I agree. It might surprise you but most everything will be there in the morning. If you miss one skit, it isn't the end of the world. Ask her to run through all the details of it for you, being interested is just as important as being physically there.. As for the jeans, it is a memory and not a life crisis. The cat, EEEWW and I am sure everyone can figure out on their own how you found out. Call your sister and tell her you are doing Pizza or a bucket of Chicken and paper plates. Kick back and relax.. And use the extra hands. Have her help wrap presents. Some girl talk might do you some good. Sounds like you need to take a major Mommy time out.... Big hugs and it is all almost over.........
Im sure alot of us feel ready to snap with Christmas so close! Its pouring rain here today!! I still have wrapping and some more baking to do. Tomorrow is payday and I need just a couple more gifts.
