having a panic attack!!!
Well I am freaking out a bit, I am working in a new building tonight, I recieved 4 hours training, just showing basic's. It is the company I work for thier big christmas party. I have to walk through all the tables that are set up with a trolley with two buckets of ice on it( 300 people). Also put away all the buffet tables after the meal is done. I just happened on that information when I happen to go in this morning to ask a question. During my training last night, I was told what to clean etc.. then at the very end we found out their was another christmas party on the bottom floor so just about everything he told me to do, I can not do it, because you can not have wet floors!! I hope I make it out alive tonight. I am sure it will all work out ok, but it is pure torture for me to sit her for another 3 hours waiting to go,,,, ahhhhhhhhh
It sounds like you have a big job ahead of you. I'm sure you will do great
Deep breath... In, Out... You CAN do it!!
Mrse, how did things go? I've been thinking about you.
Hi, it actually went ok. When I went in, my boss was in the middle of putting the ice in the bar, I actually went in early, I helped her finish it. At that point their was no one their yet, but they moved the tables back a bit to make a bigger isle to the other end of the hall, which made me feel alot better, when I first seen it the day before thier was hardly any room to walk down the isle let alone carry a bucket of ice. I was nervous taking the bucket of ice through everyone only once then after that I didn't even think about it, everyone was eating, drinking and yacking so I did not feel like I was being watched. I went to the lower floor and cleaned and came up stairs every hour and a half to check the ice in the bar. I had two cylinders that ran out of coke, only had a 2 min lesson on that the night before, but made out ok. Thanks for the support, I guess I need some more self esteam, I always panic about doing new things but once I do it once I am usually ok. My heart was pounding out of my chest so bad, it was a bad panic attack glad it is over, on to the next new thing I have to do with my job.
