DH bought a new truck yesterday. He got a 2005 Toyota Tundra Double Cab. He loves it, and I do too. We went to sign the papers and Chris asked what the interest rate was and the guy said 7.8. What?!?! Chris asked. We were about to walk out, because we have really good credit, and the guy showed us another paper and said that from the numbers we would get 5.5 or 6.5 and I said well that's better than 7.8. We rated an A for our credit report, so we couldn't understand why the interest was so high. We got really good news this morning. The guy called and said our interest rate is 4%. WOW!!!! Also, our payments are $10.00 cheaper a month. Very nice. Chris was very happy too.

That's great! I've always been anal about my credit, and my APR is 4.8%. DHs is 7% because of the amount of the loan he took out on his truck and our debt to income ratio. They wont count his 2nd job in case he deploys which I guess is smart. My friend has a Tundra and they are nice.

Congratulations on your new vehicle. My BIL has had his toyota truck for a LONG time now and it's still running great and still looks great too.
