Just a note for cell phone users - Telemarketers will be allowed to call your cell phone to sell their wares effective January 1, 2005.
You can add your cell number to the DO NOT CALL list by going to the website at DONOTCALL.GOV. You have until tomorrow to register your phone.

This was on our local news last week. The way that I understand it is that they will be allowed to call your cell phone IF that is the phone number that you have listed as your home/business phone number.

The investigative reporter said that there was no reason for panic over this. Things will remain the same for people that use their cells for personal use.

Thanks, i'm registered- even though I still get a few telemarketing calls every day DH was glad I put the cells #'s on because they always call him on his cell while he's working and it looks bad with his phone ringing all day while he's working with recruits!
