What's for dinner?
I realize that this is a little late for you on the East Coast but I'm starting to get into a rut and would love some new ideas. I'm trying Amy's red beans and rice tonight with cornbread and a green salad. Yummy!
We are just having BBQ chicken (in the oven, not on the grill) and pasta along with a salad. Nothing too exciting. I would love new ideas
I am making my Cheese Potato soup & homemade bread.
I have no clue. DH has been on me lately because i've been out of the cooking mood. Last night I made Hamburger Helper, lol! I think with all this holiday cooking i'm pooped. I'll probably think of something last minute again!
We had frozen pizza tonight. I haven't been in the cooking mood either.
Not in the cooking mood here either...frozen pizza here too!
We had homemade chicken noodle soup and dinner rolls.
I actually made a real meal tonight. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and salad!!
Dh made pesto salmon, baby red potatoes and brocolli.
Well I figured it out, i'm making pork chops with bacon and cheese, peas, and garlic mashed potatoes.
We had chicken marsala, sweet potatoes and rice.
We had enchilada's, salad, chips and rotel dip.
You will LOVE Amy's red beans and rice recipe. It's awesome. I brought home popcorn chicken for little kids and Blimpie subs for dh and dd.
mac and cheese w/ hotdogs and salad.
We had baked chicken, yellow potatoes and green beans. (Not much, but I had to work today and I was tired)
How did the red beans and rice come out? It really doesn't take much time to prepare (although it does take 3 hours to cook) - and it is a favorite here in our house. We had Burger King tonight. I had to work the Secret Santa Shop at my sons school, so it was a late night.
They were awesome!!! I had to ask Crystal what Tony C's was but I love it! I ended up putting some extra in my bowl. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make and my house smelled so good! The neighbor came over to borrow a garden hose and took some home with him because he loved the smell of it. And there is a ton of it for leftovers. Can you tell I loved it?
I'm glad!
