I am off the smokes!! ;) Day 2
I put the faces like that because it is my mood, i miss it, I want to smoke, even thought I am on zyban and the patch I am still having moments that i feel like pouncing on the first person I know who has a cig. This is my second day, does not feel like I am getting eneough out ot the patches., even though it is the strongest patch. I have ate all the candy canes off the christmas tree, the kids were in shock. well had a little craving couldn't help it. I think I will go lay down, can't crave a smoke when sleeping lol.

Hang in there! I've had 2 failed attempts in the last 6 months, but they were cold turkey/no help from meds. You can do it!! Let us know how you are doing!

Great job!!!! You really do need to hang in there!! I did it in September and the first two weeks really are the hardest. But it's a piece of cake after that! I'm to the point now where my DH smoking bothers me!!!! And, I'm always cleaning his ashtrays because they are bothering me too!!! So, there really is light at the end of the tunnel!!! Keep going!!!
I am feeling really weepy now, feel exhausted. I have been walking to work, drinking lots of water, having more naps. I buy two packs of gum a day my jaws are sore. I am going to my sisters right now, feeling house bound, talk soon, thanks for the support.
Doing good! Is there some smoke enders in your area you can join if you need more support. I think you are doing great! Too bad it is so hard. I hear it is hard for everyone though.
It also helps to eat a carrot when you feel that craving. You are doing great, the more water you drink the quicker the nicotine will get out of your system. I can promise you that you will feel so much better. I quit almost 4 years ago, food tastes better, I smell better, & I feel great.
Don't give up!!! You've come this far, you don't want to start over again later!! Drink lots of water and flush that junk out... You can do it!!!!
My middle son stopped smoking. He says drink lots of water, lots of juice, and yes, chew gum. Lots of exercise so you get good and tired. No alcohol, because it weakens your resistance and people who drink smoke more when they drink than they do otherwise. Brush your teeth, a lot. If you can, go to the dentist and get your teeth cleaned, so you have a shiny white smile that you want to keep.
Okay. It's the 21st. How're you doing? I'm rooting for you! This is tough stuff you're doing. Hang in there!!!!!!!!!
Keep In There. I gave up 3 years ago and i know it's the best thing i ever did for myself. Exercise alot it's better than snacking. don't get discouraged either. You feel better about yourself when your keeping yourself better. at least i do. Good luck you can do it!
