Polar Express Movie
I absolutely LOVED it!, If you need a nice christmas pick me up this is it. It is a wonderful story and it really focused more on the spirit of giving of yourself, loving your neighbor and the innocence of children instead of the mass commercialism of christmas. I highly recommend it.
I agree it was a neat movie. Timmy, even at 2, sat spellbond through the entire movie. However, if you get motion sick, you may want to beware.
Oh, I agree it's a great movie! But I am TERRIFIED of heights, and there were scenes where I had to cover my eyes because of the intensity! (DH fell asleep--his loss) I loved the little girl and her special message at the end.
wow thanks for the reviews, I will have to take the family and go soon.
We took the girls this past Saturday and they loved it. My husband and I liked it too. It was just a different kind of movie.
It was soooo good. My seven year old reminded me so much of the main character. He even looks like him. And he's a "doubter." He just got one of those letters from the "North Pole" yesterday though (I think my in-laws sent it) and he's convinced (for now).
Oh- my 2 year old LOVED it too- especially the train part.
My daughters get to go see it this week. Its there school field trip. Dd in kingergarten goes tomorrow and my 4th grader goes Thursday. Thats all they have talked about all month since they found out that they were going. Thanks for the good reviews I hope they enjoy it
It really is a great movie. I've been looking all over town for the red/white striped wrapping paper for a couple of weeks now. No luck yet. Hallmark has some really nice "Believe Bells" from the movie. I'm going to get one for my daughter. I'm also going to buy one for my son, but save it for a few years until he understands more. We will be buying this movie on DVD for sure
