...there seems to be so many cute and unusual names chosen for the user names on the board,I was just wondering how everyone chose their's ?I"ll go first...My full name is Wanda Lou.I ABSOLUTELY HATED it while I was growing up.My maiden name was Bilyeu..a french name that is pronounced Bill-u.But of course here in the south where I"m from,as I posted once before,we tend to have our own way of talking.So,our name was pronounced like the color blue.So ,therefore,I was Wanda Lou Blue !!!Of course,I was teased all the time growing up.I was real shy and very inhibited,and I even lied about my name eventually.I also hated myself the whole time I was growing up.But,in the last few years,I"ve been going through a lot of "self-help" type of things,and I"ve learned that I"m actually a pretty good person.So,this might sound corny,but instead of running from my name,I decided to "embrace" it.lol I decided that I was going to be "the real "me on the board.And this is what my mother used to call me .Silly,huh...
I love Tinkerbell and it was taken for my screen name so I chose "tinkamarink". Since Tink hadn't been taken here and it was shorter than either Tinkerbell and tinkamarink, I grabbed it. There was another Tink on here after me but she used Tttink.
Gee, my reason's really kinda boring.......

I have three children so I chose children03 and it is easy to remember.
My name I actually really don't like...because it actually is my 1st married name kern and my first name kate...just always stuck. I would love to change it here, but it has been around so long don't want to confuse anyone. Maybe I should change it and start fresh
dawnk777 just got picked when I was trying to get a member name for AOL's instant messenger. It was hard to find a number that would work with my name, so I just tried 777 and it worked, so anytime I have to pick a user name for something, it's what I use!
I have two little cuties (IMO) and that is where my name came from, soon it will have to be changed though, since I will have 3 little cuties...lol

Tunnia is pronounced Toon-ya and it's short for Petunia. My father gave me the nickname Tunia when I was a little girl. When I signed up for my first email account "Tunia" was already taken so I added an extra "n" and there you have it. BTW, my dad is the only one who has ever called me Tunia.
Ditto Amy and Karen! LOL! My name is Trina and I'm a moderator! Before becoming a mod I was simply Trina. Not very original or creative, but my name is a little different so I stuck with it.

my sister created my screen name when I got back from Okinawa. I needed to use the internet and she didn't want me to use her screen name so she added me on to my parents account. It was her way of being funny, but everyone says that it fit so it has kind of stuck.

Question for those of you with initials that you can't pronounce, or 'names' or phrases that you can pronounce, but are really long that you have to consciously think about as you type it...do you get used to that or does it bother you? I'm thinking of Kristie and Jennifer who posted here. See!! I had to use their real names as I just can't get hold of those mouthfuls, LOL! Sometimes there will be people here that I wanted to ask a question of, but for the life of me I can't recall their exact name because of abbreviations of it or initials that make no sense to me, personally, since I don't know the whole story or name behind it. I'm just wondering if it's a pain to type it or remember it, or if I'm simply too addled to handle such a thing. Hence my simple 'Kate'.
Cat is short for Cathy. On some other boards I'm Cathyliz (first and shortened middle name). Dh is the only one that calls me Cat. I'm Cathy to everyone else (expect my parents when I was in trouble when I was young--then I was Cathleen! lol).
I don't have to think about it too much because I have my screen names saved on most of the sites I use. The others it just kinds flows naturally.
Eve is my real name. Very original, I know.

I came up with mine while trying to find a screen name for Yahoo. My teenage dd and I have a little joke that I'm a "nerd mom," but believe it or not, that one was taken! So, I figured I'm happy, and happy to be a "nerd mom,", so voila!

I started out a long time ago as Ohio_mama at Mom to Mom. Doesn't take much to figure that one out, I live in Ohio and I am a mama. When we started up here I decided just to go with my name, everyone knew me by name thus no need for anyone to adjust. They added the ~moderatr not to long ago.. And Bobbie is my name, no Roberta, no Bertha or anything else. It is simply Bobbie Jo.
Cocoabutter is what I call my dog sometimes. Her name is just Cocoa. She is a yellow lab airdale terrier mix. She has the personality and color of a lab but the size and strength of an airdale. She is 3 1/2 years old.
Lisa, I think that "tune" came from the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks, I could be wrong, and I think the last word it rock, not sure either, but it did ring a bell when you typed it out. lol
Miss mudd is my cat of 7 years, on yahoo I am dutchmudd, the name of my dog and my cat. I dont know what I will do when either of them goes to the great hereafter, I think I will be sad just typing my screen name

My screen name is easy to remember because I use the same one every where. The only place I use a different one is on aol instant messager, and I use jelybe4 (changed it because of my married name
Another boring one. First name Pam and last name starts with a T. On other sites, sometimes I use speech-chick or pamelaaugust as my username. Speech-chick because I am a speech therapist and I had a friend in grad school whose husband always called us the speech chicks. Pamela August because my mom used to always call me Pamela June (real name is Pamela Ann) and when DH and I started dating he called me Pamela August just to be goofy. We also got married in August
My nickname in college was Fraggle. If anyone remembers the fraggles, they had kind of crazy hair and I have naturally curly very thick hair-I'm also on the short side so I could probably fit inside their little caves
BabysitBarb because I babysit and my name is Barb. A friend came up with it when she was helping me set up my AOL for the first time.
luvn29 comes from me being a HUGE Kevin Harvick fan in NASCAR. His number is 29. I'm Luvn #29. I use it on another board I am always on, and so I wanted to stick with the same one here. I use luckymom on another board, but it seems it was taken here already.
