Strange question
Can you tell that I am home alone tonight and my mind is wondering!! LOL Anyway, you know how you can buy gift tags that have that little white stretchy band attached to them that you can put around the gift? What would you call those little white bands and where would you buy them? Here is the reason... in my dh's business, he sends thank you gifts to clients and sometimes his business contacts. Right now, he has been sending candles that he has had custom labels made for, but they cost more than the regular candles because of the custom labels. The clients are lovin' the candles, so he wants to continue that, but with the regular candles and then attach his business card to them. So, I would like to find those little stretchy things and then hole punch his business card and put them on that way. So after all of that, how would I go about finding them!!
Elastic cord - check a local sewing store or craft shop. I don't know if you can buy bands, but I know you can buy a roll of the stuff. I've bought it in gold and in silver, also, which is nice because it is colorful. I just cut a length, thread it through the card and what I am attaching the card to, and tie a little bow. You could do that with just regular thin ribbon too.
I was thinking the same thing as Ginny. Any craft store should have something.
The sell it in metalic colors also. You could simply knot a loop and attach his card.
Thanks!! I knew someone here would know what I was talking about!!
I just bought some gold elastic cord at one of our craft stores (Michael's), because I'm giving a few candles that I bought from my dd through a cheer fundraiser. I cut out circles of holiday fabric, and I'm going to make a 'bracelet' to hold the fabric around the lid. I even bought some of that ribbon that has adhesive on one side so I can even place that around it as well.
