Hard to find/ out of stock gifts your kids want
I don't know about the rest of you but I am having a hrd time this year with stuff my son who will 11 next month wants. I did FINALLY get the Terrain Twister he wants soooooo bad. But what A mess it was. It was sold out everywhere and has been for a long time. I kept trying everyday online and finally got lucky one morning when Amazon had some in stock. You have to order a the car and the battery for it does not come with it so you have to order it. Not cheap at $29 for just the stupid battery! So I place and order an I get it in my email and they sent the car to my OLD address and the battery to my new address! What a mess! I had to email them and it took 2 days to get a reply. Then I had to deal with UPS to have it sent here. I was on the phone for days with these people! Well FINALLY I got both items! Another gifts this year that is always sold out is the 20 questions game. Hope you are all finding what you need. Next year I am looking for the must hve gifts WAY early! BTW I had a GREAT time back home over Thankgiving. Black friday shopping with the girls was a blast!!
I just posted about this very thing a few days ago after seeing a frantic Dad in the store looking for a Playstation2 for his son. I felt so bad for him. I got dd's PS2 about 6 weeks ago or so and am so glad that I did. There are none to be found around here. No one seemed to be having a hard time with anything in the responses to my post!! The only thing that I wanted to get dd (it wasn't even on her list, but I know she will love it) that I had a little bit of a hard time finding was the game Catch Phrase Jr. I did find it online though, so it should be here any day now. But it wouldn't have been the end of the world if I hadn't gotten it because I don't even think she knows what it is, but I think she will love it!! Sounds like a mess you went through!! I am glad you finally got everything.
Vicki, is Catch Phrase only an electronic game? That's what I'm seeing at Amazon. I think my eight year old would like it too, but I would prefer a board game style.
Kate, as far as I know it is only electronic. Dd has friends over alot and I think they will have a blast paying it.
