...the cutest little 2mo baby girl sitting in the bouncy seat on the breakfast bar next to me. Today's her first day here. I've had her brother, now 16mo, since he was 2mo, too. Enjoying these little babies and kids. This is why I do what I do. Just had to share.

I have to admit that spending all day with a two month old and getting to send her home so I get a full night's sleep sounds like so much fun! I don't think I'd be able to get much else done today. "Just look at the pretty little girl. She wants me to hold her all day, doesn't she? She wants to sit next to me and have me make funny faces at her and talk to her in this silly little voice, doesn't she?" Yeah, I can see exactly how my day would go! Enjoy yourself!

Cori, I had so much fun with her today! She was fussy, but she's got reflux and GERD, so she's probably pretty uncomfortable most of the time. Most of the time if I put her down she calmed down within a couple minutes. Ug. A cutie pie that doesn't like to be held! We'll have to get her over that! lol

Well, be thankful for that! LOL! DD had GERD as an infant and wasn't happy unless she was being held! Made cooking meals and doing housework a real challenge. I wore her often in my BabyBjorn carrier. There were many times I WISHED she would be happy when I put her down!

I'm so glad that you were able to enjoy the day with her and I can see the positive in her wanting to be put down. I'm sure at least one of the other kids is going to want you attention at some point! Seth had reflux also and the sling was my best friend because he only wanted to be held. Have so much fun with her! Will you have her 5 days a week? Lots of fun watching her grow up!
