Before the holidays I was spending alot of my time getting ready for my home to be appraised. We are refinancing.

I am so fussy about details that I was really stressing about the appraiser coming. It went really well, and thank goodness that part is over!

I am also putting up all of my Christmas decorations. That is the fun part though! I think I may post a pic of my tree. I am charging the batteries for the camera right now.

Funny you should ask about my Thanksgiving, Tink. It was very nice except for the enterntainment, LOL...

I am speaking of my bipolar mother. I love her dearly, she wasn't really bad. She was on one of her upswings this time and managed to bring up things noone wanted to talk about, and embarrassed each and every one of us. I guess that's better than the alternative of having her on a downer.

The food was great and we did enjoy each other's company.

That is so funny...in a not so funny way! Let me explain. My mom is also bi-polar so our evening was influenced by the fact that she was on a "high" and had everyone somewhat uncomfortable at one point or another. But the really *good* part was the brunch at a friend's house that she went to with us. See, she cracked a tooth on a popcorn kernel on Wednesday and was given pain pills by the dentist. That morning she accidently took 2 or, maybe, it was 3 (she really wasn't sure) and provided quite a show for all of the friends eating brunch with us! Luckily, my sister took her home and let her "sleep it off" before dinner preparations needed to be started. Quite an event! I can certainly sympathize with your dinner entertainment!
