Last week I got an e-mail from the cartoon academy where DS takes drawing lessons. They were thinking of doing "Movie Nights" on Saturdays from 6-10 pm and wanted to get feedback from parents if this was a good idea. I responded with, "I'm LOVING the Movie Night idea! Please keep me posted." Got another e-mail today. Apparently they got a huge positive feedback from parents and are starting Movie Nights this weekend. Woo hoo! For $30 the kids will hang out at the cartoon academy, have pizza for dinner, watch a movie and play air hockey, foos ball, games, etc. while DH and I get to enjoy time alone together. How sweet is that?!

Great! Fun thing for your kid(s) to do, and wonderful opportunity for adult time with hubby. What would be even better (IMO) is if sometimes they got involved with the kids doing a fun *cartoon* project some of those nights.
