Yesterday I got very angry at dh for going way too fast on the highway, and of course, made a big production of it! Wouldn't you know, today coming home from the grocery store *I* got a speeding ticket!! (I was going 51 in a 35. I really thought it was a 45MPH zone, but that's beside the point) I agree I deserved it, but it just kills me that dh is often speeding, and never gets a ticket!! AAACCCHHH!!! Of course he thinks this is just hilarious, and I must admit, it made me chuckle, too. It just HAD to happen the day after I gave him a really hard time for speeding. I will never live this down! LOL

Doesn't it always happen that way? Speeding has never been an issue with us, since my DH has no room to talk (3 tickets in 3 years) but when my youngest dd was an infant, I told him he needed to fasten her diaper tighter so she didn't have a "blow-out". As soon as I "fixed" it, I sat down to nurse her and ended up with a present all over my lap! Somethings we really can't ever live down!

I just paid a ticket this past Friday for having an expired inspection sticker and the 3-4 times EVER in my life that I have gone over the speed limit or done a "rolling" stop I've gotten a ticket. My DH, however, was driving with a 1 yr expired out of state license plate, an expired driver's license, and made an illegal left turn. A cop pulled him over for the turn, but when he realized that the tag and license were expired he told DH that it would be too much paperwork and let him go with a warning. AAARRGGHHH!
