DD is turning four this week and she's going to wear her older sister's hand me down pink, silk shantung, fancy dress with cream lace. Older DD wore cream tights and shoes with it (in April) and younger DD will wear the cream tights, but the cream shoes don't fit her. I can't find any cream shoes these days in the stores, so I was wondering if you thought black patent leather shoes with it would look bad or not. It's November, not April, so at least I have THAT going for me. What do you think?

You can never go wrong with black patent leather shoes. I think they would match well.

I would nix the cream tights and go with regular colored hose and then the patents would look very nice!

I think that you should get some pink tights and then the black shoes would look even better. I have a dress for Rylee that is pink and black and I bought pink tights and black shoes to go with it and it is sooooo cute together. HTH.

I like the idea of the cream tights, since there is cream lace on the dress. I also think that black patent leather is a little girl staple, so you can rarely go wrong with it.
