Keep us in your thoughts....
... DH is doing some things in his *non deploying* unit right now that make me think they make preparing to pull him from the unit and send him back to Iraq. Its all speculation but i'm watching out for them! They are in need of his MOS (military occupation specialty, or something like that, basically his *main* job) and are activating reservist and pulling guys from non deploying units. I know its his job and he has to do it but if for some reason they do I hope I don't turn up pregnant. I'm not ready to have another baby by myself. I guess don't pray that he doesn't go because it would sound selfish but pray that if he has to go that everything turns out for the best of us. But above all, lets hope i'm overreacting. He's needed at his current unit right now too!
I will keep you in my thoughts. My husband's Unit just gave us the word at the last drill to "expect" to be gone by Mid-December. This will be my first deployment, so I really don't know what to expect. I hope that everything turns out for the best for your husband and for your family.
Joelle, i'll keep your family in my thoughts as well. How long is he expected to be gone? If you ever need to chat email me. I've been through a few deployments, including Iraq last year.
I will keep both your families in my thoughts. I can't imagine what you have given up so that your dh's can protect my family, somehow thank you doesn't seem enough.
{{{Melissa}}} I'm flying out today but I have my cell if you need to talk.
