One of the moms of a girl in my dd's brownie troop went into the hospital on Wednesday to deliver her second baby, she started hemorrhaging, had a heart attack and died on Thursday! I am so stunned. She was my age! Her husband was bringing the new baby home from the hospital today. How awful, he has lost his wife and has a new baby on the same day. Now he will be raising a newborn and a seven year old ALONE! Wow! He is a Navy Pilot so I don't know what he is going to do. I stood in her living room on Tuesday talking to her about how great it is to have 2 girls. Wow!

OMG!!!!!!!!! How terrible! I feel for that whole family. Before giving birth to DD I used to have nightmares about that. Wow, I don't even know what to say because that is just a horrible situation. (((HUGS))) to you. I hope you are doing okay.

So scary and terrribly sad! We forget that childbirth does have some danger attached to it. In time I hope he finds strength and joy in his new baby. They are in my prayers.

Her funeral is tonight. I'm sure the neighborhood will be somber today. They brought the baby home on Sunday. They have family here right now helping. I think it will really hit him and his 7 yr. old dd when everyone goes home. Keep them in your prayers, they are going to need them. I also found out, she wasn't my age, she was 4 years YOUNGER. Only 30!
