Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive November 2004: Is anyone else still captivated by the election?
I cannot sleep. Nate passed out a bit ago, from sheer exhaustion, but I keep waking him up to give updates. Is anyone else totally glued to CNN? It's going to be a long night!!!
I keep on waking to check it..lol It sure is close. We don't have a t.v so I am trying to find headlines on the Internet. Too close I am going to bed I will see in the morning.
I was watching some but i figure it will be days before we know anything for some reason?
No, I went to bed around midnight. I didn't get enough sleep the night before, so I was too tired to have watched much farther into the night.
I watched till 12:30 and then headed to bed. Woke up at 7 and they are still waiting as they were last night for the results.
I went to bed by 9 but everytime I woke up for water I jumped online to see who was ahead. From what i'm watching so far looks like Bush is ahead
I hate the waiting game!!!! I wish that this whole thing would just be over with. When will the ohio votes be in? Hopefully, things will not chnage too much.
It is over! FINALLY!!
I went to bed at 3:30 AM on the morning of the 3rd. I had to be sure to get ds off to school. I figured by then that they were going to wait on Ohio before any other states (only 3 left) were called. I couldn't sleep, tho. I had dreams that Kerry got 270, then they gave Bush 270, then Kerry got them back, and so on.
I worked night shift that night so I got regular updates. Everywhere I went people had extra tvs on watching and stuff. It was neat, but I am burnt out on politics.
