A question for all the photo queens!
I just recently got our digital camera and I love it. One problem: whenever I try to reduce a picture, the quality is terrible and it ends up about 2 inches square. Does anyone know why and, more to the point, what I can do to fix it? I am having to resize it from about 9,000mb to 50mb, so it seems like a big jump. Oh, and I'm using HP Photo and Imaging Gallery, if it matters. I sure hope one of you can help me out.
I wonder if it is the program because that is the same one I use & have the same problem.
Great! Not what I wanted to hear.
Any chance the online image cruncher will be up anytime soon? I have the same problem with file size. Ame
I have that program and don't use it. I like Photo Suite.
Well Cori I was concerned, for me, that it was the programmer not the program.
Emily, that is certainly a consideration for me, too! I'm still hoping that it is the programmer, so I don't have to go get a different program.
Is there a free program I can download to resize pictures?
I'm not having much luck. With Paint Shop Pro, I can easily resize pictures and then optimize the jpgs to be lower than 50K, in a lot less time than I just spent trying to find something that is free. Download Free Trial
Andi-This is a sight my DH told me about. He said you should be able to demo something and resize some photos. Hope that helps. Image Software Downloads
