I just recently got our digital camera and I love it. One problem: whenever I try to reduce a picture, the quality is terrible and it ends up about 2 inches square. Does anyone know why and, more to the point, what I can do to fix it? I am having to resize it from about 9,000mb to 50mb, so it seems like a big jump. Oh, and I'm using HP Photo and Imaging Gallery, if it matters. I sure hope one of you can help me out.

I'm not having much luck. With Paint Shop Pro, I can easily resize pictures and then optimize the jpgs to be lower than 50K, in a lot less time than I just spent trying to find something that is free.

Andi-This is a sight my DH told me about. He said you should be able to demo something and resize some photos. Hope that helps.
