I was just wondering how many people have spouses or significant others that have a differing political view.
My dh & I do.

DH and I generally don't get into political discussions anymore. It tends to spark major arguements. I think because I am VERY opinionated when it comes to the government. I heard a statement a while back that I have adopted!! I love my country....hate my government!!!!

DH and I vote pretty much the same. And he is NOT fun to debate with. At least not for me. He's very intelligent and well-read and well-spoken. He would make dog meat out of me in a debate.

We are the same here, we tend to debate both sides with each other, each playing devil's advocate. WE tend to be pretty conservative, I think I have more compassion though

We are the same as Kaye...we agree for the most part...maybe small differences and we enjoy debating the sides even when we dont agree with the candidate...i think just cuz we try to make sense out of the things we dont agree with.
