.. having to book a "mandatory" hotel stay for $145.00 can really make a day quite depressing! I searched for over an hour online for cheap hotel rates but i'm booking so late for this weekend that all the cheap stuff is booked. Another lesson learned! By time this weekend is over, i'm going to have half a head full of gray hairs and quite a few wrinkles! Its suppose to be fun but not when it drains your pocketbook. From what im adding up now we've spend a total of $570.00 preparing for this Marine Corps Ball, and that doesn't include the drinks and "fun money" while were there. Oh Lordy.......

Ouch is right, but think of all the fun you'll have and you're going to be a princess for the night... Enjoy it and make sure to take lots of pictures to share!
