Cat Horror Story
So - all these posts about cats and how much we love them...guess what MINE did the other night? O.K., start with good thing about cats: the best thing mine does is that when I go to bed, she's there too, lying on my legs and grooming herself. Puts me to sleep. Fast-forward: 2a.m. DH comes in the room - "I smell..CAT PEE!!!!" Cat did. Cat peed on our bed. On me. ON MY CHEST!!! WHILE I WAS ASLEEP!!!! Worst yet: electric blanket - the odor was being...expanded. YUK! YUK! YUK! Anyway, turns out she was locked in the room for a few hours. But still - ON ME??? I was horrified. 2am is a bad enough time to have to do laundry and scramble for a quilt to cover with - but while I was asleep??? ARGH!!! 1 hr later, ds woke up with a wet bed. It was a night o' urine. YUK.
Yuck is right! I would have freaked out. Cat pee is so strong! Gotta Love Cats!! My cat kneeds all over my pajamas when I take them off in the morning. He gets them all slobery! Eww!
Oh man! That's terrible and disgusting! Poor you
Oooh no! Ok, I know it's not funny, but you made me laugh! I'm sure it wasn't funny at 2am though! How wild! I want a kitty, so I won't tell my DH this story. Especially since I just got him to get an electric blanket. LOL! BTW-When our dog was a puppy, she ate cooking grease and was sick and up all night. We kept her in bed with us, watching her. She threw up on my chest in the middle of the night and I kept on sleeping! So, I feel your pain.
LOL, ok, that is gross, but it reminded me of when DH and I moved in with his sister last year, the cat we had at the time was not happy, so he peed at the head of the bed on DH's side. He smelled something funny, when he went to smell the blanket he stuck his nose right in the cat pee! Then, my husband is weird, he kept smelling it saying, This is cat pee, here meg, smell this! EWWWW, lol.
Yuck! That stinks!
I'm so sorry... but I'm LOL!!!! That's horrible, yet hysterical!!! I HATE coming home and smelling cat pee. Thank God it's only happened twice in the almost 10 years I've had my cat. And both times, I've sniffed my way around the house until I found the offending spot!!! Nothing worse!!!
