Now that's what I call customer service!
I opened a can of tuna last Wednesday and found that it was only half-full, and what was there was mostly liquid. I went to the company site and sent them an email. Later that day I received a reply saying that they had gotten my email and would be in touch. So I forgot about it and as I was looking through the mail yesterday, I noticed a letter from this company. They apologized and sent me some coupons, but what really impressed me was the speed in which they responded. The letter must have been sent out right away because it was post-marked Oct. 20th (Wednesday) and made it from California to Pennsylvania in three days. I am very impressed!
Wow! That's great. Btw, I HATE tuna fish! lol I can't be alone, can I???
Cat, there has never been a can of tuna fish in my house! DH and I hate the stuff. My oldest dd thinks it is a treat to go to Nonna's house and have a tuna salad sandwich! LOL
That's great! I like tuna once in a while, but don't think I could eat it every day.
Funny how somebody goes by Cat and doesn't like tuna! Something is wrong with that. LOL
The smell of tuna makes me want to puke!!! I swore when I was little that it was cat food and I wouldn't eat it.
Hey! I'm not sure if I should be insulted that my thread got hijacked or... happy that I got some reponses.
DH loves tuna, quick protein for him. Though after Jessica Simpson (you didn't think you could get away with a tuna post without her name, did ya? ) he only wants Chicken of the Sea. LOL! Thats great customer service.
tuna/Jessica Simpson???? what did I miss...Ya know I live a sheltered life. If its not military related I usually don't hear about it. And...sorry Sunny, that was really good customer service
Kristie, what kind of sheltered life do you live in 29 Palms??? You don't know the Jessica Simpson/tuna joke? She was eating Chicken of the Sea and thought it was actually chicken, it because a big "blonde" joke after that.
Didn't mean to hijack your post! I've just NEVER liked tuna. Not even the smell. It's sad to say but I have no clue if my boys like it or not. I had one little daycare girl that flipped one day when we had grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. She'd eaten them before, but wouldn't touch them that day. Found out when mom picked her up that dad had snuck some tuna into grilled cheese at their house the week before. I told this little girl, "I PROMISE you, you will NEVER get tuna in a grilled cheese at my house!" It still took her a month to eat another one! lol
I hope you all realized I was kidding. We have tuna once or twice a month. It's not our favorite, but it works when I'm in a pinch! It helps to add a lot of mayonnaise (and onions and celery, too)! LOL
What a nit wit. How could you mistake tuna for chicken. The smell alone gives it away (with or without mayo)Good grief. That poor little girl. That daddy should be ashamed of himself. Tramatizing a child like that. Sheesh. Thats one thing I don't do is try to trick my kids. They will eat what I make, the first time after that if they don't like it I make sure to make them something else the next time I cook. And I NEVER give them medicine and tell them its candy. My parents still do that, and I give them an earfull everytime I hear it.
