Winter go away!
Here is a picture of my house THIS...yes THIS...week!!!!!
Hope to see it soon! We have snow about 1/2 way down the mountain. Only another 1/2 to go and it will be on us! I love winter weather
Don't know how to reduce it.
Paula, Email it to me. I'll shrink it for you. d-klein @ charter.net without spaces.
Here is Paula's house! She definitely had very snowy weather!
WOW!!! It is so pretty. Since I have never seen snow, I don't know why you want it to go away. I can't wait for winter here in Florida because I want to wear my sweaters and sweatshirts.
You can have my snow anytime! It is pretty to LOOK at...but remember...snow doesn't fall when it is nice out. Along with this yucky stuff comes COLD weather and icy driving conditions Today it is -7C...what's that in F????
I think it's close to 0 degrees but, whatever it converts to, it's too darn cold for my California butt! Like Rayanne said, it does look pretty!
-7C is 19.4F Wow, that is pretty cold! Brrr! (I have a little conversion program called A Simple Unit Convertor! http://users.tpg.com.au/doktormj/mystuff.htm)
I just can't imagine that people have never seen snow! I have grow up in the snow belt here so I see it every year. I dont mind it through December 31st. TO me it is just another holiday decoration. ALthought october is WAY too early. After Jan. it can go away though. It does look pretty, but driving in it stinks!
Geez, we've set record highs down here - I'd LOVE some of that snow right about now!
Our winters in Wyoming are full of snow. I can't imagine never seeing it. Its so much fun to have snowball fights with DS and DH. I always get ganged up on and last year DH tackled me down while DS shoveled snow on me with the snow shovel! (this year is paybacks!!) And building snow men, and how beautiful it is while its falling before any one has stepped in the snow and how the snow builds up in the branches of the trees! It looks like a greating card. Then hear in wyoming as I'm sure Emily can agree with we have the wonderful wyoming wind!! That is what I don't like about our winters, its not the snow it is the 50mph wind. (and thats a breeze)
You'd think in Colorado we'd get lots of snow. Not so. Yes, it snows, but usually melts within a day or so. I think the most we've gotten (at once) in the three years we've lived here is about 18" (they said it was a blizzard, oh pah-leeze!), and that was gone within a week. It shut down both major roads between us and Colorado Springs. Thankfully we were stocked up on groceries, because even the store a mile away was running out of things because the roads were closed! It was comical, really. Hey, I'm from Michigan, people! Bring it on! Sorry you're not enjoying it, Paula, but I can understand. It's a pain to shovel and travel in and it's bitter COLD!!! {{{{{Paula}}}}} Sending warm thoughts to ya.
