What are your kids going to be for Halloween?
Mine are Batman and Cinderella!
My eight year old is going to be a witch and my three year old is going to be a sandbox. Yes, really...a sandbox.
Alissa will be Cinderella and Brett will be what he calls a Hobo.
A sandbox??? Got to see a pic of that. Sounds neat!
Dylan is going to be a Firefighter (he has been the past 2 years!) Taylor is going to be a little Tiger.
Rylee is going to be Tinkerbell.
Robin is going to be a bleeding devil and Randy's going to be a bleeding grim reaper. (they have those double masks that have fake blood pumping through them)
Jordan is going to be a Bionicle and Josh is going to be a Fireman.
Tyler (8) doesn't want to dress up this year. He said he'd prefer to stay home with Dad to help hand out candy. Ok, whatever. LOL! Bethany (6) is going to be Garfield.
Christopher is going as a dinosaur... it is super cute!
Cooper is going to be a horse. (his costume is so cute...I can't wait!) Ashlyn is going to be a cheerleader. Megan is *still* undecided, leaning towards a bunny or a "50's girls".
Erin (8) is going to be a wicked witch. This is the first year I've allowed her to be something not-so-nice. Will (4) is going to be Spiderman.
Sami (7) is going to be Tinkerbell. Seth (5) is going to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Bella (3) is going to be Strawberry Shortcake, which is what I was for Halloween when I was 3!
ds-Scream & dd-Dragon
Savanna (7) wanted to go as the Scream guy! Always has to be scary!!!!!!!!!
Emily (8) got the hippie costume from K-mart. It is purple complete with bell bottoms and flared sleeves with some wild pyschodelic print. And it has a purple hat with it. Adorable!!! Ashton (5)is going to be Captain America. They are both really cute costumes, and we will finally have a year that will not be troublesome. One year, Emily's witches hat kept flying off, one year, her dress was a little too long, so we kept trying to tie it up, one year, Ashton's Thomas the Train costume was too bulky. *Sigh* this should be a much better year!!! I'm so excited!
DD won't celebrate this year, we wont be home. Last year she was Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Will probably just piece something together with what we have in the house. Emily is the only one trick or treating and nothing excited her at Walmart tonight. She wants to go with her cousins. We have a wizard hat and a purple cape, so going as a Harry Potter-type character is easy. It's been done before, but oh well! She probably doesn't have too much trick or treating left in her life anyway.
A 50's girl, three of her friends have the SAME costume. She's 13. LOL! My 9 and 10 year old dd's are going to be witches. They are not sure if going to be a good witch or a bad one. 9 year old went to a party tonight as a pretty witch. 7 year old ds is going to go as a martial artist. ***Gee*** I wonder how he got that idea!!! I was trying to save a few bucks and suggested ds go as this since he just got his yellow belt last week. He was thrilled with the idea. He's so proud of himself. I saved a few extra $$$$. So far at least....
Shane and Maddie are going as Mickey and Minnie! We got Shane's costume in today and he looks SO cute!!
My dd is going as a mime and my ds is going as a jeep...too cute both of them!
Alec will be Darth Vader and Griff will be a bloody skeleton. Peyton will be a bride. (Can you tell which one I helped pick? LOL)
Lost my fuzzy little mind at DW in April and bought a beautiful Tinkerbell oufit for my 3 yo dd. But..... being the very opiniated little lady she is, she is going to be Perdita, mother of the 101 Dalmations complete with $10 costume from discount store, tail from Dollar Tree and black makeup around her left (and absolutely make sure not right) eye. Why did I spend the money for the Tinkerbell dress???? LOL Kids..you gotta love 'em.
Imamommyx4, don't worry, she can still play dress up in that Tinkerbell outfit. btw, when we were there, my dd kept asking for a princess costume too. She saw all the little girls walking around in their Cinderella outfits. Why they were wearing them at the park, i don't know.
My girls are going as an angel and Ariel (from Little Mermaid) in her wedding dress.
my two boys are going to be skeletons not scary bloody ones though thank goodness...
My older boys,9 and 4 will be pirates. My dsd,6 will be a princess and my lil babyboy,7mo, will be a lil devil.
Lexi is going to be Puss in Boots from Shrek2
Madison is going to be Barbie - Hey, I didn't pick it - her other Grandma bought the costume. I SO wanted to take her to DH's store and get one, but there's always next year. Kate - I think we'd ALL like to see a pic of a sandbox!
DS wants to be a train engineer, which I think I can come up with (he's got the hat, so I can add some overalls, maybe a kerchief and a flashlight) but he's under the impression that a train comes with it. Also bought a costume at Superstore - a little furry red devil suit, complete with horns and a tail. DS isn't too impressed, but I thought it was cute.
Bellajoe--I wondered the same thing about the little girls wearing the Pricess dresses at the park. Seemed dangerous to me. And most of them were a pretty dirty and some were ragged late in the day. But you know how it is. Sometimes it's just not worth the fight. BTW dd didn't even ask for the Tinkerbell dress. Like I said I lost my mind. I found it. I loved it. I talked dd into it. My dh, and I do mean darling husband, just whipped out the billfold and paid for it. He's a sweetie. She has worn it a bit playing dress up. She plays with my best friend's little boy who likes to be Peter Pan. But I sure thought it would be a good Halloween costume.
Kenna, your son going as a jeep sounds as unique as my daughter going as a sandbox! Where do they come up with these ideas?? Do you have an actual costume or are you making it?
Adam (10) wants to stay at home and pass out candy Noah (7) is going as Lance Armstrong. I'm a mean mommy and won't let them dress up scary or gory.
My 3 year old dd wants to be spiderman! She won't be anything girly. Last year she was buzzlightyear. I still have the pretty princess dress in the closet just in case. Sniff Sniff. Ds 6 is going to be a Ninja Turtle.
My DD is going as a little witch (she's 2 1/2)! And her grandma is dressing up as a big witch to go out with us!!!!
Our community decided to Trick or Treat on Saturday and we have tickets to see The Wiggles!
Nico wants to go as a dog, but I haven't even gotten him a costume yet.
Timmy is goign to be Uncle Sam and Jade is going to be a Care Bear.
A princess! Is there anything else? ;)
I've got a princess and a witch too. Aren't we original?? ;)
