I went out to get my nails done lastnight when Chris got home from work. Rylee had been a little cranky today and wanted to be held a lot, so I informed him before I left. When I got home, I walked into the house and saw Chris and Rylee slowdancing to music. I just smiled and walked up to him and he was crying. I asked what was wrong, and he just pulled me close and we all danced together. I, of course, started to cry because he was crying and the song on the radio was really sad. When the song was over, I asked what was wrong and he said that he didn't want Rylee to grow up. I told him that I felt the same way and then we both cried again.

I agree,enjoy every moment...because all too soon,they are grown.I remember holding each of my 3 children,at different points in time,and thinking about the words to an old song,I believe it's called "Turn Around".It says"turn around and they're 2,turn around and they're 4,turn around and they're a young lad...walking out the frount door".The last part says something like"...turn around and she's a young wife with babes of her own".I remember MANY times,as I held them safley in my arms,I would cry very hard,and already DREAD for that day to come.Then,a couple of months ago, that song came back to my mind again,and it hit me like a ton of bricks!!!!All 3 of my children are grown and married...and it was exactly as the song had said ...I turned around,and they were grown !!
