Remember I told you all that *N*'s mom interviewed for a regular M-F, 8-5 job? Well, she didn't get it. BUT, she was offered a different one (out of the blue-a doctor she knows called HER!!!) and she accepted it! So now I'll have *N* starting November 1st M-TH, 7:30A-6P. Still long hours, but better than 6A-8P and NO WEEKENDS!!! I'm going to talk to *N*'s mom tonight about what her weekly fee will be. I'm still deciding that. I have a different rate for daily than weekly/full time, BUT with those hours he'll still pretty much be full time (42 hrs a week). The weekly/full time rate would end up being $10 more than the daily rate. *N*'s dad could probably pick him up early on Thursdays (he's working nights right now) and that would cut a few hours a week. Dh thinks I should just charge her the full time rate. I'm going to talk to her about it and see what she thinks. They've never had a problem paying me a fair rate, even with the really long days and weekends the paid me enough to make it worth it. This will cut out all my drop-ins and all but one part time kid. I feel bad for the other families, but they knew this was probably coming. I'm so excited for her and for me! My enrollment is going to be dropping from juggling 11 kids to just 7 regulars!!! YEAH!!!
