Woo hoo!!! My kids are still in bed asleep. lol

I was suppose to take a test this morning at 7:30am. I was NOT prepared for it at all, as I have been totally distracted. I laid in bed this morning thinking I might just skip class and take a zero. Since we drop the lowest test score. Then I saw on the news that the community college is closed. phew! This gives me 5 more days to study. Thank you Lord!!! I feel guilty and happy all at the same time. lol

Shouldn't be any problem getting to work today. Tonight the drive home might get slick.

The kids are enjoying some much needed extra rest this morning. The snow is slushy, and not a great deal of it calling for 3-5 inches. So I doubt we get to build a snowman. Bummer!! We are going to have to move to Wisconsin or Colorado to get the snow we'd love to have.

We are getting snow too. We are suppose to get about 4 inches, for Oklahoma that is big. They didn't cancel school though! I sent the kids, but now the temps are dropping, so I am having second thoughts about sending them. So now, I am just keeping an eye on things. If the roads start to get slick, I am just going to pick them up early. We live off a street that has deep ditches on each side, I hate driving on it when the weather gets bad. There always ends up being lots of cars in the ditch when the roads get slick

It is supposed to get nasty here overnight and into tomorrow. I am thinking we might have a snow day tomorrow! Winter storm warning, ice, snow, freezing rain.... fun fun fun! Wouldn't know it to look outside right now though!

We are suppose to start getting hit tonight after midnight and going until 7-9pm tomorrow. they are calling for 9-12in before it is all done.

Hopefully it will be enough to cancel school tomorrow. They say the worst will hit during the day tomorrow I do not want to drive to get Timmy is yucky weather.

My kids had another snow day yesterday, but we really didn't get any snow. I think the buses were canceled because of early morning ice. It rained the day before, froze over night, and we had insane winds yesterday. I'm sure most of the other kids went, but because 2 of mine take buses, I just find it easier to keep everyone at home.
We're supposed to get a big storm tomorrow, but they have a PA day anyway.
I am SO SICK of winter!

We're supposed to get ice tonight. I'm a bit envious Conni my kids had a 2 hour delay tuesday but dh and I still had 9:30 classes. When there is a 2 hour delay my kiddos have to be late if it's a college day.
