Well, we were planning on going to see my grandmother, mom and dad were taking the moter home with all the kids my 3 and my sister's one. My sister and I were going to take the truck. We were having a birthday party at my cousins, for my grandmother and since it is thanksgiving they were cooking a big turkey. We were also going to stop at the casino on the way, well........ for the past two weeks we have all had colds, I was wondering if I should even go earlier, but felt not to bad last night , bought a new shirt, dyed my hair, and was ready to go, then........ this morning I am in having my bath and I hear this mommmmmmmmm. I went into my youngest bedroom, and she said mom i did not sleep all night my throat is sore, so I got her up, and she is running a fever, so here I am bathed, new shirt on , make up on, I basically just have to walk out the door, and she is so sick, hacking and coughing. Well I am not going to go, she is really bad, and I am just not leaving her. When she was born she had lung problems, and we were in the hospital for 5 weeks after she was born, so when she gets sick , I stay with her. Dh told me to go, but for me it is not an option, she needs her mom right now, and I know she feels better with me here. But boy do I look good!! lol.

Disappointing, I know! But under the circumstances, you made the right choice. I'm one of those moms - when one of the kids is sick, even NOW, I'm the one who stays with them and takes care of them. I think part of me feels no one else can do that as good as I can. I hope she's feeling better soon!

Hi everyone, well the fever broke, and she is sound asleep on the couch. I went and got some movies for us to watch . It is really quiet here right now, dh has gone to his brother's right now, and with the other two girls gone, the quietness is almost hard to take, hey I said almost! lol. They will be back tommorrow night, in the mean time, I plan on getting their rooms gutted out in between my movies. dh is making thanksgiving dinner for us when the girls return, tommorrow night. It is really cold outside right now, the wind is up, and I think it is starting to rain, we have the woodstove on, and it is really cozy in here. I almost feel like taking a nap! just might do that. Happy thanksgiving everyone.
