I sent a short article to the magazine "First",a woman's magazine.Actually,it was a questionair,asking you to describe what you concidered to be your greatest achievement,and how it came about.It's for an article called "Light The Way" to help encourage other women.So.I wrote in about how I always wanted to enter my photography in our county fair,but because I had such severe low self esteem,that I not only felt like I couldn't,but that I SHOULDN'T (because I wasn't good enough).But,I did enter it ,and last year I WON 3 third places,and 1 second place!Then this yr,I WON 2 third places and 2 FIRST PLACES!!! Then,the next question was ,what process or thing did I go through that gave me the courage to attempt this.So.I was undecided as how to answer this,because it was through a christian counceling/co-dependency,Bible study,etc.course that I went through,that helped me to understand and deal with the things from my past,and see that I CAN have a future,with God's help.I thought if I said anything about Jesus,they would say I was just a "religious"fanatic,and toss it away.But,I wanted to give God the glory,because that's the truth.So,I wrote it and sent it in.AND,QUESS WHAT!!?? Yesterday I got an e-mail from one of the writers of the magazine,and she wants to know if I want to be a part of a story that she is doing about ANSWERED PRAYERS !!!!!! I am sooooooo excited !!!! I'll let ya'll know what happens.I also want to share with ya'll my winning photo's,but I can't fiqure out how to post them.Any suggestions? And thank you for letting me share this.
