.... a blueberry cake that is. I'm completely bored today which means DD is being good, LOL! so I decided to make a cake. It smells so yummy! The house is clean, errands done, animals fed... I have nothing to do!

Just got back from taking DD to school. Now it's just DS and me at home. So far, we are doing nothing. But, he's making a big mess with his applesauce, so soon I'll be cleaning that up!

Got up, got kids to school, then went and laid down next to dh, who was still in bed where we talked and snuggled with the dog. Then got up to eat breakfast and then I had to go to my school job.

I'm home now from my school job and it's time to pick up one of the kids from school, since they get out early on Wednesdays for teacher inservices. The other kid is taking Spanish, so she has to go to the language lab for 15 minutes, once a week and then she is going to a key club meeting.

So, a normal Wednesday here.

Ditto Brandy. Felling a bit better and trying to decide if I'm going to take the kids to karate or call a friend to pick them up. I don't want to pass out at karate. Last time that happened they called 911. The poor little girl was SO embarrassed. (She hadn't eaten all day and she locked her knees) We'll see if I can make it through a shower.

I just got home from checking out the new Dollar General Store they just opened in our small town. Its really nice and I just love dollar stores. It will be sooo nice to travel for 3 minutes to pick up things instead of 15
In about a 1/2 hour I will start dinner.
And Melissa I would love a piece of that cake too!!!

Well the fair starts tonight
with a parade so we are going to that.
The rest of the week will be the rides and games.
They even have Friday off of school!
Its a bit cool today so we will have to dress warm.

I am patiently waiting on my baby's RX. He woke up with a cold last night. His brothers and sister were here over the weekend, with colds
Now he has it too. His medication was called in at 8am. They told me it would be ready at lunch. I went to pharmacy at 2, and of course, its not ready yet. I was going to cook, but I think we will go out instead. ;)

Taking a break from scrubbing floors. We dug out, plastered, damp proofed, insulated and drain tiled the basement on the weekend. My yard is all mud now from the excavating as are the livingroom carpet and kitchen floor. Ah well, they were wrote off anyway.

The pumpkin pie is baking, it smells awesome! I made the meatloaf and it is now in the fridge waitng for it's turn in the oven and soon the potatoes will be mashed! yum!

Today i've cleaned the bathrooms and vacuumed and cleaned the bedrooms. I also put together a packing list for WDW (leaving 2 weeks from today!!) and made ID/name tags for the kids to wear in the parks.

Looks like i'm the most boring person with not much to do today... LOL! Well since I finished the cake (I enjoy baking them but dont really like to eat cake) I went to the commissary (grocery store) and picked up some items for a crock pot dinner - lasagna in the crock pot! Yum! So now i'm waiting for Passions to come on so I can put DD down for a nap and have a much needed hour of drama in my life, LOL!


Kathy, Amy... come on over for cake! I havn't frosted it yet though, cant figure what frosting i'd like to do!

The kids and I made spaghetti and meatballs for tomorrow's supper. Not much time for cooking tomorrow and late afternoon is my lowpoint of the day! I just can't get motivated to work on supper, before supper.

In the evening, I'm not hungry and I have more energy to tackle big tasks. So, tomorrow, we just have to cook the pasta and warm up the sauce. It smells so good in my kitchen, now.

Emily is looking forward to picking fresh basil and oregano to throw on the spaghetti and salads tomorrow!
