Have any of you ever had them? They are just miserable ! I didn`t sleep a wink last night from all the itching.
Yes! I have had hives and it was miserable. UGH! I just took some Benadryl and they went away. The allergic reaction was caused from some medication I was on and after a couple of days (once it got built up in my system) I began itching like crazy all over my face, stomach, back and legs! If you can remember anything out of the ordinary that you took or ate or came in contact with, that will help you prevent them in the future. It is no fun.
I broke out in hives only once, and it was horrible! It was no doubt a stress reaction in me - I had a horrid boss while in college,and he yelled at me and a few moments later I looked at my wrists and there they were!
Oh, Sue! Find out what you're allergic to, Girl! I did have them once, but was SO lucky to not itch. I was covered in red, splotchy bumps and looked terrible, but wasn't uncomfortable at all. It was an allergic reaction to a sulfa med. My neighbor wouldn't come near me. She was afraid I'd give them to her! lol Good luck and hope you get relief soon.
I get them if I am really stressed out. My Mom gets them if she eats horseradish, she loves it too. My Mom had them so bad they took pictures & wanted to admit her.
Sue I have had them 3x. The best relief I got was from the benydryl GEL. It cooled off the itch and worked wonders.
Yes! Sympathy from me. It was awful.
It wouldn`t be so bad except that this weekend is a girls weekend out (very rare ,last time I did this was 3 years ago).
