A friend of mine wanted me to check out her kindergartner and see if he needed speech therapy. I did a little screening after school today and he has a few minor artic problems, so she asked if I would work with him and I said sure. It should be quick and easy to fix. She insisted on paying me and I told her no, but she kept pushing the issue. She's an interior decorator and I had mentioned to her that I wanted her to help me pick out fabric for my living room furniture (2 chairs and a sofa) and I would pay her as a client. So...I suggested bartering. I told her I would do speech tx with her son and she could find me fabric and let me use her professional discount. She said she would just get the fabric. So...upholestry fabric for speech therapy and I'm just thrilled!!
