Just discovered you can't post anon on that thread, so I wanted to answer your post here. Hope this is OK mods? I'm the anon from the losing weight thread on the other page, I will tell you that's how I got started on this path. I really didn't think I needed to lose weight, I was happy with my appearence, activity level and so was my hubby However I started having some low back pain and some knee pain when I ran/biked. I knew the extra weight was effecting me. I did a two day complete fast, had hot tea only and I journaled, journaled journaled every emotion, thought, pain etc. I read this journal for two weeks before deciding what I needed to do and how I needed to do it. I wouldn't reccomend once a week it's a mental and physical difficulty and running around with kids is hard enough, but maybe as a starting point to get in touch with yourself and your habits with eating and when/why/what cravings. That's what it did for me. Keep us posted on what you decide to do.
