We'll be in the 80s today. It was 75 @ 8am while I was on my way to work.

By Rayanne on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 - 02:03 pm:

It's supposed to be a high of 84 here. On the internet it says 75.

Here outside of Chicago we are in the 80's today. It is suppose to be back into the low 70's by this weekend which is normal for this time of year. I love fall!!!

We are ready for fall now. We had a cold summer and were resigned to that. September has been warmer than the whole summer! Today, at 2pm, it 82, after a low of 51 this morning! So, we bundle up when the sun is down, but are still wearing shorts during the day. Go figure. I'm ready for the cooler days of fall! September has been warm enough.

The average high/low should be 70°F / 52°F, so we are on track for the low, but the high is higher than normal.

Records for today are:

85°F (1970) -- 35°F (1953)

We are close to the record for today! LOL!

Supposed to be fairly warm during the day for the next week, yet.

Only in Indiana does it get in the 50's at night and then mid 80"s during the day.Im sure it does this other places also. I have seen e-mail jokes that say only in Indiana do people use their heaters and air conditioners in the same day.

Barb,
That`s what it has been like here also in Michigan.
Cool at night and blazing HOT during the day.
We had an unusual cool summer this year.
Now we are getting the hot weather (I feel bad for the poor kids).
I send them to school in shorts in the morning and they are freezing and and then it`s very hot by noon !
I want the cooler fall weather.........soon!!

In NE PA today it is beautiful. The temp right now is 70 and sunny! Our nights have been in the 30's and 40's.
But today is a great fall day!

It's in the 80's today, and should be like that at least for the next few days. The evenings are cool.
I'm in Southern Ontario.

It's cool today in North AL, 78 right now. Lows at night and in the morning are around 58-60! I love this weather! Cool, but not too cold yet:)

By Christylee on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 - 07:20 pm:

Here in Houston it's 93 degrees! Fall? what's that? lol... we'll be this way until Halloween!

By Dawnk777 on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 - 12:54 am:

We didn't need heat or AC today, except for AC in the car. In the car, I hate how noisy it is with the windows open.

SE PA - lots of rain last weekend from Ivan and several areas in the Lehigh Valley and the Trenton, NJ area badly flooded, as well as in Bucks County. And I mean really, really badly. Some rivers topped their previous high marks from the mid 1950s

Now it is high 70s / low 80s during the day, mid 50s / low 60s at night, sunny, clear.

By Tink on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 - 11:36 am:

We had 10% of our season's rain in one hour and a high of 62 degrees two days ago but we are back up to 90 degrees today. Yuck! We won't see fall for several weeks at least. I hate that! I need to spend an autumn on the East Coast. Anyone willing to put up with me for a few weeks?
